Throughout 2025, we reflected deeply about what true product success means—from a founder’s perspective. At the center, there must be an excellent product; one that is truly desirable, viable and feasible. But a great product alone does not ensure success. Other critical factors impact the outcome.

Just as leading minds in health-sciences focus on the whole human to truly understand our complex nature and the interconnectedness of everything affecting our well-being, we zoomed out, widening our lens to consider the entire experience. In doing so, we were reminded of a well-known marketing axiom; people don’t buy things. They buy stories.

People like to think of themselves as rational actors comparing specs and prices, but in reality, they are emotional creatures who use logic to justify their "story-based" impulses. When someone buys a product, they aren't just buying a physical object; they are buying who that object makes them become or what it says about them to the world.

Realizing this, we began thinking about how we could work with our rich network of collaboration partners to better support our most deserving clients to realize their product vision. This resulted in an even bigger idea—the acquisition of Brinton Design, a like-minded boutique brand marketing agency with capabilities that significantly extend the value we offer clients beyond the conventional end points of the product development lifecycle.
