OVERVIEW
After launching the first Argus Tower, Kargo set out to refine its computer vision platform for broader deployment. The next-generation V3 Tower needed to reduce manufacturing complexity, simplify shipping and installation, support an expanded optics system, and strengthen Kargo's growing product identity.
Mighty worked alongside Kargo's engineering team to transform a successful first-generation product into a platform better suited for manufacturing, deployment, and long-term growth.

INSIGHT
The operational demands of modern logistics required a platform that was easier to deploy, simpler to manufacture, and flexible enough to support an expanding sensing system.
Standing approximately three meters tall, the previous architecture presented challenges for shipping and installation. The V3 introduced a folding structure near its midpoint, allowing the tower to ship upright on a standard pallet. This reduced transportation costs and simplified installation in the field.
The enclosure was redesigned to support Kargo's expanding sensing platform, including new time-of-flight camera modules, a higher-density LED lighting system, updated status indicators, and future thermal requirements. The same architecture also supports both single- and dual-sided configurations, giving Kargo greater flexibility across deployment scenarios.
As the platform evolved, the product architecture was refined to reduce part count and mechanical complexity while extending Kargo's industrial design language through updated forms, graphics, and integrated lighting. Throughout development, industrial design and mechanical engineering progressed together through concept exploration, CAD refinement, and production support, ensuring the design intent carried through manufacturing.
